In collaboration with our design partners, we steered the Registry team from a scattershot approach toward more evergreen assets. We utilized semi-weekly newsletters, interactive quizzes, and explainers for new features that we could schedule out after a couple has singed up for a registry account.


I helped to establish a consistent voice that exudes warmth, excitement, and confidence — like a trusted friend.

Sending two newsletters a month, we often took the opportunity to experiment with one of them. One of the following examples showcases a quiz-style format, while the other was designed to promote an unconventional registry category.

When several new, incredibly useful, but technically arcane features were added to our registry system, I was called in to help explain them to our registry users.
