In 2023, CVS developed a new product to help people remember to take their vitamins — a stylish dispenser system designed to be displayed on your counter.
With new, one-of-a-kind products comes a lot of explaining. That’s why we were hired. CVS came up with the name of the product and the tag line. We were to use those building blocks to create a landing page, social media campaign, radio spots, CTV commercials, banners and more.
I was the sole copywriter on this project working with a team of designers and animators. Stakeholders included CVS marketing, in-house creative (Heart Haus), store merchandising, store brands, executive leadership and legal.
landing page
We couldn’t just send customers to a standard PLP, we needed an intro section to educate the consumer about how the system works and which parts they need to purchase.
PDP image carousel
Reinforcing our educational theme, we created image carousel assets for every product. For bases, we included a frame informing the shopper they’d need a cartridge. For cartridges, we included a frame informing the shopper they’d need a base.
Our campaign included paid social media posts for Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest, as well as digital radio spots for Waze and Pandora.
DCO ads
We utilized DCO to create different ads based on the time of day. Ads seen in the morning were focused on taking your morning vitamins, evening ads focused on evening vitamins.
in-store signage
CVS asked us to redesign their in-store signage display after they found people were purchasing way more cartridges than bases. We were tasked with creating signage that explains how to expand the system with a different base for every vitamin.
